Electrical and Control Systems

Instrumentation devices are typically used to measure the following four physical characteristic in a process: flow, temperature, level and pressure. However, depending on the application more quantities can be measured by a wide choice of measuring instruments.

These instruments then give operators and control devices the necessary information for controlling processes in a plant, such as adjusting temperatures, pressures and flows. Thanks to modern technologies, such adjustments can easily be done automatically or by a few clicks on a computer in a control room.
